Mason finished his championship from the 9-12 month puppy class with five majors.  Mason has received numerous Group placements and Awards of Merit at specialties, including the 2002 Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac specialty under Mrs. Eva Mjelde.  Mason has the distinction of being one of few in the breed to achieve a specialty Best of Breed and all breed Best in Show win. In September 2004, Mason went Best of Breed at the Labrador Retriever Club of the Twin Cities Specialty. In April 2005, Mason was awarded Best in Show at the Ft. Clair Kennel Club show in Ohio.
